💰 How You Get Paid as an MJ Cargo Trailers Rep
We keep payouts simple, fast, and reliable. Here’s how your commissions work from Day 1.
🟧 1. How You’re Paid for Your First Deals (Venmo)
For your first few deals as a new rep, we pay commissions directly through Venmo so you can get your money quickly.
What you need to do:
- When a sale closes, send your manager your Venmo username
- You’ll receive payment as soon as the deal is funded
- This helps you get paid FAST while your paperwork is being processed
🟦 2. After Your First Deals — You Move to 1099 Payroll
Once you’ve completed a few sales and are fully in the system, we transition you to 1099 contractor payroll for regular payouts.
What this means:
- You’ll be paid as an independent contractor
- Commissions are tracked and paid through our payroll process
- You must submit your W-9 when requested
- Payments continue to go out quickly and reliably
🟩 3. When You Get Paid (Funding Schedule)
Your commission is released after the trailer is funded. Each lender has a different payout cycle:
C3 Rent-to-Own
- 🚚 Funds every Monday
- 🕒 Cutoff is Thursday
(Any approvals completed before Thursday get paid the following Monday)
Rock Solid Funding & Traditional Lenders
- 💵 Most fund within 3 business days
- Commission is paid immediately once the funding hits our account
🟫 4. What You Must Do When You Close a Sale
Every time you close a deal:
✔ Step 1 — Tell your manager the customer’s name
✔ Step 2 — Send your Venmo (if you’re still in early payout phase)
✔ Step 3 — Confirm whether the deal is C3, Rock Solid, or Cash
✔ Step 4 — Wait for funding and your payout
Your manager tracks all deals and makes sure you get paid on time.
